Thanks to everyone who made the fourth annual Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival our biggest and best event to date. More than 2,100 people turned out in just six hours for a day of activities celebrating the love of comic books and pop culture — that’s almost 30 percent more folks than last year!
If you haven’t seen the many, many photos of the 2011 festival posted here and on Facebook yet, be sure to check them out, look for folks you know, tag them, and share them. We’ll have more images and videos coming soon, as well. And if you didn’t pick up a copy of our commemorative, benefit comic book, Tales from Fremont Street, check out the list of stores where you can still do so.
A special round of gratitude goes to all of our hard-working volunteers, Library District staff, Vegas Valley Book Festival coordinators, all exhibiting vendors, artists and publishers, our special guests, the Barrick Museum, and the media who took the time to help spread the word about our little festival.
What’s next? Stay tuned.
