About

Photo by Rob LarosaThe Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival is part of the annual Vegas Valley Book Festival, which runs the first week of November in various locations across Las Vegas. The Comic Book Festival features publishers, vendors, film screenings, panels, special guests and much more. The 2012 festival will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. inside and around the Clark County Library (1401 E. Flamingo Road).

Last year’s festival saw about 2,200 people come through the library’s doors to enjoy live music by Kirby Krackle, a screening of V for Vendetta, meet-and-greets and panels with guests such as Paul Tobin, Colleen Coover, Katie Cook, Brian and Kristy Miller, The Fillbach Brothers, and much more — all for free.

This year’s event will be the biggest (and longest!), with the return and expansion of our popular Artist Alley, new musical acts, special guests, more panels, free films, a bevy of the city’s most popular food trucks, tons of great merchandise from local comic shops, and all sorts of other geek-tastic awesomeness! And it’s still all free!
